Neusiedl am See is a town of 6.500 inhabitants in the north of the Burgenland.

The town is located directly next to the Lake Neusiedlersee. Neusiedl is known as the shopping and school centre of the region and the district.

The main resources of income of Neusiedl am See are viticulture and tourism.
