Velden

Velden is one of Carinthias most beautiful and popular holiday destinations.

The town of 9.000 inhabitants is located on the Western shore of Lake Wörthersee.

Velden is also known for its casino, which is open since 1922. The “Casino Velden” was taken over by the state in 1934.
