Lake Wörthersee is known as a breathtakingly beautiful lake, blessed with a sunny southern Alpine climate and stunning scenery.

Some people call it also the “Austrian Riviera”. Lake Wörthersee is clear and warm and has a lenght of 16 km.

The towns and villages around the lake have excellent public transport systems including ferry boats, railway services on the north side, and bus routes along both sides of the lake. This makes it easy to travell around the lake and see many interesting places close to the lake.
