Erlauf

Erlauf is a village of 1.400 inhabitants in the centre of Lower Austria.

You find the village on the road between Ybbs and Melk.

On the 8th May 1945 American and Russian soldiers met the first time in Austria to finnish the second world war. A sculpture in the centre of the village reminds on this event.
