Melk

Melk is a town in the Western part of Lower Austria.

Melk has 5.500 inhanitants and is known of its mighty monastery on the top of a rock over the centre of the town.

Car drivers on the motorway A1 between Salzburg and Vienna, who pass Melk, can see the impressive building over the roofs of the town.
