Ybbs is a town of 6.000 inhabitants, in the Western part of Lower Austria directly next to the Danube river and the motorway “A1″.

There is a cartoon and comedy festival every year in April. The festival is called “Ybbsiade” and lasts two weeks. The “Ybbsiade” is the biggest cartoon and comedy festival in the whole germanspeaking area.
