Dürnstein

Dürnstein is one of Austrias smallest towns.

The place where history comes alive is located in the centre of Lower Austria, directly next to the Northern banks of the Danube river.

Dürnstein has narrow streets from the middle ages, a monastery, and a castle above the town. There is beautiful landscape of the Wachau-valley which takes the breathe of the visitor.
