Raabs an der Thaya is located in the north of Lower Austria, close to the Czech border.
The town of 3.300 inhabitants is called “pearl of the Thaya valley”.
There is also an old castle in Raabs an the Thaya, which rises on a cliff over the confluence of the rivers “Moravian Thaya” and the “German Thaya”.

Summer tourism is an important source of income for the town. Raabs counts 22.000 overnight stays every summer.
