Schladming is located in the North Westernmost part of Styria.
Schladming is world famous for its ski world cup races, and the ski track called “Planai”. The first ski race for the world cup was hosted in 1973.
Tourism is Schladmings most important source of income. 70% of all over night stays are booked during the winter. Schladming offers 3.500 spare beds.
The town has 4.800 inhabitants.
