St. Johann am Tauern

Filed under: Styria — admin @ 6:08 pm

St. Johann am Tauern is a little village in the north of Styria, on the way from Upper Austria to Carinthia, over the Triebener Tauernpass.

The village is surrounded by coniferous forests, meadows, and alpine pastures. You won’t find any fog there the whole year. This makes Sankt Johann am Tauern a popular health resort. There are several opportunities to make sport and enjoy the pure nature in 1065m above sea level.

St. Johann am Tauern has 500 inhabitants.
