Trieben is a town in the north of Austrias federal province Styria.
Tourism and mineral treatment (Magnesit) are the two most imporant sources of income for the town.
Trieben is also known for its motorway exit from Salzburg to Graz, and for the entry point over the Triebener Tauern Pass.
The town has 4.000 inhabitants.
