Bad Aussee is located in the North Western corner of Styria, directly next to the federal states of Salzburg and Upper Austria.
The town of 5.100 inhabitants is also known as the “Central spot of the Ausseerland, respectively the Styrian Salzkammergut.
Bad Aussee is also a health spa resort and the geographical central point of Austria (the exact central point is marked with a stone in the Kurpark).
Tourism is the most important source of income for Bad Aussee. The town offers the classic summer health resort the way it was more than 100 years ago.
