Oberkappel

Oberkappel has just 800 inhabitants, and can be found on the German border, in the North Western part of Upper Austria.

At the end of the second world war, Oberkappel was the first spot where American soldiers crossed the border to Austria.

Oberkappel is mostly visited by tourists who are interested in the Danube river.
