By 26.000 inhabitants, Traun can be called the “fourth biggest city in Upper Austria”.
The city received the same name according the river which builds its border to the south: Traun.
Traun is a good place to live. There is a fabulous infrastructure, a high quality of living, and you will find a lot of schools. Big shopping centres are all around, and a lot of cultural events can be visited. Railway and motorway connection are also available, and even the Airport Linz is just around the corner.
