Ried is located in the centre of the Innviertel region, 70 km away from Linz in Western direction.

The town is the host of the trade fair called “Rieder Messe”, which is hosted since 1867.

Ried has 11.700 inhabitants and is the centre of trade and commerce of the Innviertel region.
